Wayne Greenwood, Principal
Wayne is an award-winning designer and patented inventor who uses his sixteen years of Silicon Valley experience to help product companies satisfy their customers while meeting their business objectives. Wayne has led successful design engagements with a wide range of clients including Visa, Sony, and Logitech. In 1994 Wayne co-founded Cooper Interaction Design with Alan & Sue Cooper. As Chief Design Officer of Cooper, Wayne was a primary contributor to the Cooper Goal-Directed methodology that has transformed the software design industry. Wayne was instrumental in building Cooper from a three-person company to a seventy-person, industry-leading consulting firm. Prior to joining Cooper in 1994, Wayne was lead designer for T/Maker's Macintosh word processor WriteNow, which won the MacWorld World Class and Editors Choice awards. A veteran of both startups and large companies, Wayne has also held positions at Silicon Valley icons such as Apple Computer, Wordstar, and Fairchild Semiconductor.
When he's not helping clients, Wayne works on his own design projects which include building a propane-powered 1931 Ford hot rod roadster and a floating home.
